About Us

Bedoya Training Stables is one of Houston area’s premier Hunter/Jumper facilities. Owned by husband and wife team, Daniel and Lindsay Bedoya, and located in Magnolia, Texas on 10 beautiful acres in a gated community. Our facility has 26 stalls, 8 turn outs, and both arena and round pen have new Premier Equestrian footing with fiber. Daniel and Lindsay both have extensive experience developing young horses and coaching riders ranging from beginners to Grand Prix level. Our team competes at some of the largest events in the country as well as International competitions.

We accept incoming clients who own or lease their own horses or are looking to do so and regularly compete on the “A” circuit. Daniel and Lindsay are happy to assist any new riders who are interested in leasing or purchasing a horse. BTS frequently has a large selection of horses available for sale and lease and also has a large network of riders and trainers that we source from.

Daniel Bedoya

Daniel Bedoya grew up riding in La Paz, Bolivia. He won several national championships as a junior rider and competed in Young Riders Championships. After moving to the US and graduating from St. Edwards University in Austin, Daniel started his own business as a professional rider. Since then he as represented his home country at the 2018 World Equestrian Games, the 2019 Pan American Games, and the 2022 South American Games. Daniel is a regular competitor in Grand Prix competition all over the country and currently has his sights set on the 2023 Pan American Games in Chile. In addition to being an accomplished Grand Prix rider, Daniel also has a talent for purchasing and developing young horses. His career also reaches into the hunter ring, with numerous championships and hunter derby wins.

Lindsay Bedoya is a Houston, Texas native. She has always had a passion for horses and grew up competing in the hunters, jumpers, and equitation divisions. She has a keen eye for fine tuning a riders position and efficiency on the horse. She has experience developing young horses from 4 years old up to the 1.30m height and has also competed with results up to 1.45m. Lindsay has helped young riders qualify for and compete with success at USEF Pony Finals. She greatly enjoys teaching our junior riders, and is also instrumental in the ground work for our higher level jumpers.
